This is the second time Stumbleupon has directed me here, and both times I spent the entire reading thinking, “Dear god. This person is actually trying to pass this bullshit off as useful information.” (The first article was about asking girls out, or something; I don’t remember.)

First of all: whoah, racism! Yes, you’re saying that these are generalizations based only on your experience, but, well, they’re still racist generalizations. Who are you to say that girls who look white like short relationships or girls who look Asian or Indian like what is essentially the frat boy stereotype (…but discos? Really? Last I checked it was 2008).

Also, the combination pseudo-intellectual snooty/ third grade grasp of grammar writing style (”mostly prefer guys with six packs who dress up in ‘gangster’ style but they are a few who don’t”) is incredibly annoying. You might want to work on that before you start publishing on the web. Just a thought.

Also, some of your “information” is blatantly wrong. According to a study that we looked at in my sociology class (unfortunately, I can’t remember who did it), white girls are most attracted to white guys, black girls to black guys, Hispanic girls to Hispanic guys, and Asian girls to both Asian and white guys.

My advice for geeks on the prowl? This might sound trite, but be genuine. Don’t worry about pick-up lines, trying to look cool, or classifying girls based on their appearance. There are girls out there who would much rather talk about Star Trek and fantasy writing than, well, whatever other girls do. And these girls–the ones you’d probably enjoy most anyway–will not be impressed by the kind of shallow, cheesy gimmicks that this site describes.
