Warming Up - Exercise 1

Before you try anything you need to get ready mentally for it and one the main things you need to do before is break that thing around you which is called fear. Don’t worry, this is easy if you do it properly and have the will to do it. Just follow some simple exercises and see the effects on you after you’ve done it.

Exercise 1: Look at yourself. Love yourself.
For this, I want you to look at yourself in the mirror and think about all the negative things about you. Once you got a list, move onto to positive things about you. I haven’t tried this myself but a few people that I know have done this and this helped them greatly.

Learning the negative things can help find out faults which you can fix, and finding the positive things will motivate you to use them to your advantage or even improve them more.

Also with the negative things, see them in different ways - are they really bad things? In another persons perspective, it could be a good thing! Want an example? Check out on those 1000’s of forums about women who prefer men on the chubby side. They are even girls who hate muscular guys! So yes, there is hope and not all things are bad!

The psychology behind it? No one would like you if you don’t like yourself. Finding bad points, then finding good points to match them helps build more confidence about the person. Doing this one or two times can greatly improve your self esteem and confidence.
